Electromedical

By "instrumental therapies" we mean the use and administration of physical energies for therapeutic purposes thanks to the use of electromedical equipment. The impact of different types of energy on tissues generates a chain of biological reactions that translate into specific therapeutic effects. These methods are aimed at alleviating pain and speeding up healing.

All the therapies are administered exclusively after precise and detailed medical prescription and in aid to massotherapy (maneuvers and massages on organs and tissues of the human body).

Both at the studio and, if necessary, at home you can do:

  • Electrostimulation&Tens
  • Magnetotherapy
  • Tecartherapy

Electrostimulation&Tens

Tens, which stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation, is used as an aid against acute or chronic pain. It consists of applying electrical impulses to the skin in order to reduce pain. The analgesic effect is due to the inhibition of the nerve afferents that transmit the nociceptive stimulus, acting on the spinal interneurons. The machinery available offers various analgesic options for the various dorsal areas, for epicondylitis and arthritis. However, through the classic electrostimulation I apply aesthetic or sports programs such as toning and recovery from stress.

Magnetotherapy

Magnetotherapy uses magnetic fields applied by polarized solenoids to combat various problems such as poor bone calcification, sprains, arthrosis and arthritis. The application of this tool is based on the respect and restoration of the natural value of the cellular action potential, altered in the case of a "sick" cell. This principle is used to re-estabilish and therefore promote a healing process by improving the nutritional intake.

Tecartherapy

Tecar therapy consists in the energetic activation of the subject's body: the energy already present in the tissue inside the body is stimulated. The ultimate goal is to activate anti-inflammatory and reparative processes by speeding up the time and improving the quality of recovery.

The name derives from CApacitive and Resistive Energy Transfer and is very useful both for the treatment of acute or chronic osteoarticular pathologies, and for distorsion, muscle injuries, bursitis, tendinitis and trauma  with ligamentous involvement. In particular, the capacitive mode is suitable for the treatment of soft tissues, while the resistive is more suitable for bones, tendons, ligaments and joints.
